Hotel Gloria Del Norte presents a unique mix of charm and practicality for travelers like myself who appreciate the essentials in a vibrant city such as Cartagena. The rooms, though compact, were impeccably clean and equipped with air conditioning and flat-screen TVs, which made for a comfortable stay even in the tropical climate. The absence of clear signage for the hotel is a tad problematic, especially for those arriving late or for the first time, which I found quite frustrating after a long journey from Nairobi. Visiting Cartagena is a remarkable experience, and finding the right base to explore from is key-unfortunately, this was not it for me.
